History:
(This information below is historic and some of the links may be outdated. Relevant details will be eventually moved to our new podcast website at www.AutismEmpowermentPodcast.org)
Autism Empowerment Radio was a free podcast that launched in June 2012 and has reached over 150,000 listeners worldwide since that time. Autism Empowerment Executive Director and Co-Founder, Karen Krejcha was the host. In 2014, the show was put on hold due to the growth of Autism Empowerment and trying to balance time and financial resources. We are excited to announce that the podcast has been reimagined and is now back as of January 2021.
All show episodes from 2012 – 2014 are currently archived. Select shows with evergreen content may be brought back in the future after we have the opportunity to edit them and improve the sound quality. Shows range on average between 30 and 60 minutes. Past shows offered a wide range of original content of interest to individuals and families within autistic, autism and Asperger communities. We also hosted interviews with guests around the world. Many of our past guests include autism advocates, authors, care providers, educators, parents, and other professional individuals and organizations.
We also had a podcast in 2012 – 2014 called Autism and Scouting Radio that was a complement to our Autism and Scouting program and hosted by John Krejcha. These episodes are also currently archived, however we may rebroadcast special episodes in 2022.
